Galway Bay Fm newsroom-Two Eastern European men have been remanded in custody after a court appearance earlier today regarding an alleged theft in Galway city.
The two were arrested overnight and taken from Mill Street Garda Station to appear before a special sitting of Galway District Court shortly before midday today.
The alleged incident regarding theft of cash from a public premises in Galway city is said to have taken place last night.
Galway Gardai objected to bail for the two Eastern European men as they did not provide any permanent address of residence in Ireland.
The two were remanded in custody to Castlerea Prison to appear again before Galway Court at a later date
