Galway Bay Fm newsroom-Tomorrow (Sunday) may be very significant in the search for a man missing since he was seen entering the water at Wolfe Tone Bridge in the city on Thursday March 10th.
The Oranmore-Maree Costal Search team who are co-ordinating the searches from Salthill to Tawin Island to try and locate the Roscommon man, who is in his late 30s say tomorrow is significant due to low water levels.
Joe Kennelly, Secretary of the search team is appealing for more volunteers on the search during the low water levels this Sunday.
Meanwhile, 54 year old Ian Lambert has been missing from his home in the Gentian Hill area of Salthill since Wednesday March 9th.
He’s described as being 6 feet tall, around 12 stone in weight with grey hair.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who might have seen Ian Lambert since March 9th to contact them at Millstreet or Salthill Garda stations.
