Corofin joined Clann na Gael at the top of the provincial football Roll of Honour after a comprehensive 2-13 to 0-5 win over St Brigids in Carrick on Shannon today. Goals in either half from Michael Farragher and Jason Leonard saw the 2015 All-Ireland champions ease to a 2-13 to 0-5 victory over St Brigid’s of Roscommon in the final in Carrick on Shannon. It’s the Galway champion’s seventh provincial crown. In the All Ireland semi final in February, Corofin will play Dr Crokes of Kerry as they ran out easy winners in the Munster final against the Nire of Waterford 3-15 to 0-6
