Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway restauranteurs will meet in the city next week to discuss calorie labelling on menus.
The divisive suggestion will be the main topic of discussion at the Restaurants Association of Ireland Galway branch meeting on Monday.
The meeting will also focus on the upcoming budget.
The industry is calling for the retention of the 9% tourism VAT rate and an increase in the minimum wage.
The meeting of Galway restauranteurs will take place at Brasserie on the Corner at 10am on Monday.
