Galway Bay fm newsroom – The National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals will host its annual conference in the city this week (13/10).
The NAPD was formed in 1998 and aims to provide a united voice for principals and deputy principals on issues of common concern across all second level sectors.
The theme of this year’s two day conference is ‘Leaders at Every Level’.
Minister for Education and Skills Richard Bruton will be in attendance to provide a short speech and questions and answers session.
The 2016 NAPD conference will get underway at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Thursday.
Director Clive Byrne says current industrial unrest and potential strike action will be a major topic at this year’s event.
