Galway Bay Fm newsroom-Missing Connemara man Patrick Keane has been located safely in Galway city this afternoon.
27-year-old Patrick was recognised by a member of the public in Galway city centre and the Gardai were alerted.
He was taken by the Gardai to Mill Street Station and his family in Renvyle were contacted to travel in from Connemara to be reunited with him.
While one search was taking place in Galway city another one was underway in the Leenane area today.
27 year old Patrick was missing from his home at Mullaghgloss in Renvyle since Thursday.
Gardaí and Patrick’s family had serious concerns for his safety and it was reported earlier that he had been seen in Galway city prompting a search by volunteers and Gardai there.
The Gardai have thanked the public for their assistance in leading to him being located safely.
