Galway Bay Fm newsroom-The results of a comprehensive survey on the number of passengers using the Athenry-Ennis rail link will be announced by Minister Michael Ring this Monday.
The passenger count and survey will be launched at Ireland West Airport Knock and among the attendance will be Minister of State and Galway East TD Sean Canney.
The CICERO Report is on the performance of Phase One of the Western Rail Corridor and future developments.
The West on Track organisation will be hoping the report displays economic and social reasons for eventually re-opening the rail line from Athenry to Tuam, Claremorris and Colooney in Sligo.
The report will be launched at 4 pm this Monday afternoon.
