Galway Bay fm newsroom – One man will appear before court today following an assault at a Gort filling station.
The incident took place at the Corrib Oil filling station on Crowe Street on Friday afternoon.
It’s understood it involved two fueding families who made their way onto the forecourt during normal business hours.
One person received minor injuries and Gardai arrested one man at the scene.
The man is due to appear before court today charged with assault causing harm contrary to Section 3 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.
He will appear before Galway District Court today.
