Connacht have won the Guinness Pro 12 Title for the first time ever after beaten Leinster 20-10 in Murrayfield this evening.
Tiernan O’Halloran opened the scoring with an outstanding Try that was converted by AJ McGinty.
The dream then looked very much on when Niyi Adeolokun finished off a superb team move while MacGinty’s penalty, soon after, left it 15-0 at the break.
Sexton gave Leinster some hope with a penalty but Matt Healy collected a a kick from McGinty to make it 20-3.
Sean Cronin got a try back for Leinster but there would be no stopping Connacht this time as they defended with great determination to win the province’s first title in 131 years of existence.
