The Under 15 Cup was hosted in Galway on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 in NUIG and Leisureland. Tribes Waterpolo had two teams entered Tribes Claddagh and Tribes Salthill. Tribes Claddagh game 4th in there group with only 8 players the girls played their hearts out in all of their matches. Tribes Salthill won all of their matches beating North Dublin 4 goals to 1 goal , They won their match against Newry by 32 goals to 0 and Bangor by 26 Goals to 0 securing their place in the Semi Final against Donegall Diamonds winning by 14 goals to 0. Tribes Salthill were up against St Vincent’s in the final, tipped to be the match of the competition with two very skilled teams. The match was fantastic with both teams pulling out all the stops to win the Under 15 Cup, matching each other goal for goal. St Vincent’s Beat Tribes Salthill in the last quarter with the final score St Vincent’s 4 and Tribes Salthill 3. The girls scored 79 goals only conceding 5 goals in the whole competition.
