Galway Bay fm newsroom – A public meeting on increased female involvement in the church will take place in the city this evening.
The meeting is organised by the Association of Catholics in Ireland to discuss the potential expansion of women’s role in church ministry.
The group says that despite the achievements of Pope Francis in rejuvenating the church, little has been done to address the continued exclusion of women.
The public meeting will take place at the Clayton Hotel this evening at 7.30pm.
