Galway Bay fm newsroom – A wholesale building in the city is set to be transformed into a recreational and leisure facility.
Lynne Byrne has been granted planning permission to change the former ‘Mangan Brothers Wholesale’ building at Monivea Road into a leisure facility with a café.
Approval has been given for the leisure centre in Ballybane with 13 conditions attached.
Chief among them is that a 2 metre footpath be provided along the front of the site and 6 bicycle stands must be constructed.
It’s envisaged that the new leisure facility could include a roller rink, party room and arcade game area.
