Galway Bay fm newsroom – An Athenry student has been honoured for her contribution to her community
Sarah Connor from Ballybrit, a fifth year student at Clarin College in Athenry, has been honoured at the Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards
As a 2016 finalist, Sarah has received €500 and a silver medallion, presented by guest of honour, musician Bressie at the awards ceremony at Lough Eske Castle in Donegal.
She set up a Transition Year Mini-Company “Réalta Le Chéile” with the objectives of promoting inclusion, raising awareness and fundraising for autism.
