Galway Bay fm newsroom – The national housing crisis will be the focus of a construction conference set to take place at GMIT next week.
The annual GMIT International Construction Management Day brings together professionals, contractors and academics to discuss matters of concern within the industry.
Fifteen leading industry speakers from across Ireland and the UK will speak at this years event, which will focus on the current crisis in the housing sector.
Topics to be discussed include social housing needs, the role of the construction industry in the crisis, industry regulation and opportunities in the sector.
The 6th annual GMIT International Construction conference will take place at GMIT next Tuesday at 9am.
