Galway Bay fm newsroom – 208 people were reported missing in Galway city and county last year – one of these people is still unaccounted for.
The figure has been revealed in a new Garda report released today to mark Missing Persons’ Day.
Of the 208 people reported missing across the city and county last year, 119 were deemed ‘high risk’ cases.
Nationally, over 9 thousand people were reported missing in Ireland last year – with 31 of those still unaccounted for.
