There is a water pump failure affecting supply in the town of Glenamaddy.
Reduced supply is set to continue for a time pending pump repair or replacement.
However the burst water main that affected 50 homes yesterday in Mountbellew has been repaired.
Galway Co Council and Irish Water are working to restore the water supply to normal in Glenamaddy as quickly as possible.
