Galway Bay Fm newsroom- A woman who was taken to University Hospital Galway following a hit-and-run incident in Salthill in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday) is said to be improving in the hospital this morning.
The woman, aged in her early 30’s, suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a vehicle outside the Dun Na Carraige estate shortly after 2.30am.
However, it’s understood her injuries are not life threatening.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact Salthill Garda Station on 091-514720
