MOYCULLEN 0-8 V 0-9 HOLLYMOUNT CARRAMORE (Mayo) – FT – Pearse Stadium, Galway 2pm

2nd Half

40min – Two cynical take towns by Hollymount defenders in the same sequence ends up in 2 yellow cards being awarded.
41min – Peter Cooke converts the free. back to just one between them
47min – Kevin Ferrick gets Hollymounts first score in about 15mins and they lead by 2, Moycullen had the majority of the play and that score is a blow
52min – Black card for Hollymount, one of their key players Darren Coen the recipient
59min- Persistent fouling by Hollymount just being punished with frees Moycullen cannot get within range against this breeze
60min – Free for Moycullen on 20min they need a goal….Bradshaw shoots for goal! its gone over, that was the last play so agony for Moycullen who lose out by such a narrow margin despite a good 2nd half performance.

18min – Darren Coen with a free, Ian Costello, Damien Kelly with one each from play in the space of a minute an important period against the breeze for Hollymount
23min – 2 more quickfire points from Hollymount, a fine score from Damien Kelly and against the breeze Hollymount have had a good start.
24min – David Wynn taps over again his 3rd free of the day. 0-4 to 0-6 in favour of the Mayo side
29min – Great chance for Moycullen as the Hollymount keeper tries a risky kick out but nothing comes of it.

CLIFDEN 1-7 V ARDNAREE SARSFIELDS 1-11 (Mayo)- FT – McHale Park, Castlebar 2pm

32min – Ardnaree get the opening score of the 2nd half, Eoin McCormack with another free
41min – after an uneventful 10min regarding scores but Clifden have got one back.
43min – every Clifden score is answered byArdnaree. 1-8 to 0-4
45min – Ardnaree have this game sealed now it seems and they are out to 8pt leaders now
48min – Two further scores for Ardnaree now lead 1-11 to 0-4
59min – 2 late points for Clifden but the title is heading to Sarsfields who still lead by 8
60+1min – A Clifden penalty from Ger Gibbons in injury time puts a better complexion on the scoreline. Commiserations to Clifden .

First Half

1min – Free for Eoin McCormack gets Ardnaree the first score of the game
2min – GOAL – Ronan Doherty gives the Mayo champions an early boost
8min – Points for Ardnaree from Pat Lacken and a second Eoin McCormack free and they have had an excellent start. Clifden in dire need of a score given todays conditions 6points is a big lead.
14min – Cathal Noone with a free for Ardnaree and their lead out to 7pts.
19min – Clifden finally off the mark
26min – The sides exchange points Gerrard Gibbons and Eoin McCormack.
29min – Ardnaree add another one as we head towards the break.
30+1min – The margin 6 at the break as Clifden notch one in injury time as Feichin Mitchell slots over
