Galway Bay fm newsroom – A boil water notice has been issued for homes and businesses in the Kilconnell area.
The notice has been put in place by Irish Water due to extreme weather conditions in the area which have impacted on the quality of the water entering the source.
Consumers on the Kilconnell Public Water Supply and the Ballyboggan Group Water Scheme should boil water before use.
This includes water used for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth or making ice.
