The Tanaiste will visit the city tomorrow to officially open the Institute for Lifecourse and Society at NUI Galway.
The ILAS building is a newly designated research centre for the applied social sciences.
The institute brings together existing work in relation to the elderly, children, families and people with disabilities into new research, teaching and policy advancements.
Tanaiste Joan Burton will open the ILAS building at Corrib Village at 12.30 tomorrow afternoon.
