Galway Bay fm newsroom – NUI Galway has teamed up with the city council for a unique coastal awareness drive.
‘I Like Beaches’ aims to promote awareness of the importance of coastal and marine environments, while identifying and tackling threats to marine habitats.
As part of the project, educational boards have been installed at Grattan Beach.
More information signs will be installed at Ladies Beach and other beaches in the city shortly.
