Johnny Kelly has been recently appointed as the new manager of the Roscommon hurlers for the 2017 season. The Portumna native coached a successful Portumna team to county titles and All Ireland club championship success. He has had success with Offaly side Coolderry, Tipperary side Kildangan and Abbeyknockmoy in the Galway intermediate championship. Johnny was Galway U21 manager for 3 years and will be looking to continue the progress made by Roscommon under former manager Justin Campbell, the Kiltormer native.
