Galway Bay fm newsroom – A special event will take place in Salthill tomorrow as part of World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
371 people have lost their lives on Galway’s roads since 1997 – with 9 people killed this year alone.
Almost 24 thousand people have died on Irish roads since records began in 1959.
A special commemoration event will take place at the Salthill Hotel at 2pm tomorrow.
Those who’ve lost a loved one are asked to bring along a photo of them for the ceremony.
