The annual Young Fine Gael conference, which attracts delegates from all over Ireland, is taking place at the Shearwater Hotel in the town.
The theme of this year’s gathering is ‘Advancing the Vision,’ and Enda Kenny, Frances Fitzgerald and Simon Harris are all due to attend.
Veteran sports broadcaster Michael O’Muircheartaigh will deliver a special after-dinner address.
The event will also see a number of members elected to Young Fine Gael’s national executive.
The three-day conference gets underway at the Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe tomorrow week.
Ballinasloe area councillor Michael Finnerty says it’ll be a lively event.
