Pearse Stadium in Salthill and McHale Park in Castlebar have been named as two of the twelve Stadia announced for Ireland Rugby World Cup 2023 bid.
Croke Park, the Aviva and the RDS Arena are the Dublin venues while the Munster Venues include Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Thomond Park and Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney.
Nowlan Park in Kilkenny is also on the list along with Celtic park Derry , Kingspan Stadium Belfast and Casement Park Belfast.
The Chairman of Ireland’s RWC 2023 Bid Oversight Board, Dick Spring, today (Tuesday, November 15, 2017) formally announced Ireland’s entry into the ‘Candidate’ phase of the selection process to determine the host for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
