Connacht Gaa Announce Provisional Fixtures for 2017

Defending Connacht Champions Galway will play the winners of Mayo. Sligo and New York in the Connacht Senior Football Semi-Final following the release of the provisional fixtures for 2017. Sligo will get the Connacht Championship underway away to New York on May 7th followed by a Quarter Final between the winners and Mayo.

The Under 21 Connacht Championship will see Galway at home to Leitrim in the Quarter Final on Saturday March the 11th with the winners playing Mayo while the Galway Minors, who reached the All-Ireland Final this year, take on Mayo in the Preliminary Round on May 29th.

There is also a Connacht Under 17 Football Championship next year and Galway will play the winners of Mayo and Sligo. No dates have been confirmed for that competition.

The Connacht Junior Football Championship will see Semi-Finals on Wednesday the 3rd of May.

The Connacht Minor Football League will begin on the 11th of March with Galway away to Leitrim while the FBD League begins on the 8th of January with Galway away to Sligo, NUI Galway away to Mayo and GMIT away to Leitrim.
