The Revive Active inaugural 5K Galway Night Run on the Prom  which took place on Friday evening last attracted over 1,300 entrants.  The 5km run in its first year saw 100% of the entry fee going to west of Ireland charity Croi.

The Revive Active Galway Night Run on the Prom raised €45,500 for Croi and this money will go towards heart and stroke services for people in Galway and throughout the west of Ireland.

“We had incredible weather Friday night with clear skies and a beautiful clam October evening.  When we first thought of the Night Run , we envisaged 600 runners but we were just overwhelmed with the entries and we are already really excited for next year.

As a company we are very involved in the local community and we are delighted to support such a worthy cause as Croi. We promote a healthy lifestyle with good nutrition and exercise and for us Croi was a natural partner. Finally, we would like to thank the Salthill Gardai for their invaluable support along with the 100 plus volunteers who made this a very successful event “ explained Daithi O’Connor Managing Director of Revive Active.

Established in 2011, Irish company Revive Active offer a range of premium nutritional health food supplements that offer enhanced health benefits for the mind and body. As a company they are the leading manufacturer of health food supplements in Ireland and have a number of exciting projects under research and development to be launched later this year.
