Galway Bay fm newsroom – A new school model for primary education is set to be introduced in the Galway- Roscommon Education and Training Board region by 2018.
The new school would offer a multi-denominational approach to learning with open enrolment policies.
Community National Schools are State-funded and were first set up in 2008 by the Minister for Education on a pilot basis.
A presentation about the new model of primary education will be given to Galway-Roscommon Education and Training Board at its meeting in Loughrea tomorrow. (11/10)
