Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway Bay fm news has scooped another PPI national radio award.
The station has been named a winner in the Innovation category for an election feature on the evening news programme FYI Galway.
The feature entitled the Person Behind the Poster was a quickfire list of personal and political questions for Galway’s general election candidates.
Speaking from the awards ceremony in Lyrath Hotel in Kilkenny last night Head of News Bernadette Prendergast said the project involved all the news team.
She extended a special thanks to Galway’s serving and aspiring politicians whose wit and honesty were at the heart of the award winning feature.
