Galway Bay fm newsroom – A public consultation on the future use of the Leisureland funfair site in Salthill gets underway today.
It’s part of a process being led by consultancy firm Sport Leisure Culture, which has been tasked with compiling a feasibility study on the site, and the wider complex.
The funfair site is currently only used for four months of the year.
As part of the process, local interest groups, the business community and city councillors will be asked for their submissions on possible uses for the site.
This will be followed by an open public forum at the Galway Bay Hotel from 4pm to 7pm.
