Galway Bay fm newsroom – Six young people from Galway have graduated from the Foróige Leadership for Life Programme.
The major Foróige conference took place in NUI Maynooth this week and was attended by over 250 young people from across Ireland, the USA, Saudi Arabia and India.
The programme included workshops on team building, critical thinking, communication skills and peer discussions on matters of global importance.
The Galway teens who’ve graduated from the leadership programme are Daniel Geraghty from Menlough, Lauren Neville-Hennessy from Menlo, Michelle Chiperi, Melaine Griffin, and Renee Molyneux from the Headford Road and Chloe Yorke from Newcastle.
