Galway Bay Fm newsroom-The Arts Minister will visit the city today to launch the Galway International Arts Festival gallery and visual arts programme. (Sunday 10/7)
Minister for Regional Development, Rural Affairs, Arts and the Gaeltacht Heather Humphreys will launch the programme at opening of a new exhibition by Hughie O’Donoghue.
The exhibition entitled ‘One Hundred Years and Four Quarters’ will be officially opened by Richard Ryan – poet and former Irish ambassador to Korea, Japan and Spain.
The event gets underway at the Festival Gallery, Market Street at 4pm today (Sunday).
