Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Irish Farmers’ Association is hosting a mental health awareness event in Portumna this weekend.
The ‘Let’s Walk and Talk’ initiative is being run in conjunction with See Change, Coillte and Mental Health Ireland.
The event aims to encourage people to take some time out to go for a walk, and talk openly with others about mental health issues.
The walk gets underway at Portumna Forest Park at 3pm tomorrow. (Sunday May 1st)
