Galway Bay Fm news-
There are road closures in Connemara today to facilitate the annual Connemara Marathon.
The R336 between Leenane and Maam Cross will be closed until 5 this evening.
Motorists who intend to access the route are advised to make alternative arrangements.
Local access will not be permitted between 11am and 5pm.
Clifden Gardaí are also advising motorists that there will be a large amount of traffic congestion in the area today as a result of the marathon.
