Galway Bay fm newsroom – The second Galway Bay fm Radiothon has raised over 150 thousand euro for Galway Hospice and Cancer Care West.
The grand total was announced live on air last evening after three days of dedicated broadcasting.
The funds were donated by individuals, groups and communities from across the city and county.
The figure announced last evening by Keith Finnegan at the Radiothon HQ in the Taibhdhearc will climb further over the next few days as late pledges and donations are calculated.
