Galway Bay fm newsroom – The County Council has given the go-ahead for a new housing development in Oranmore.
Tom Considine, Patrick Sweeney and Ronnie Greene have been granted planning permission for the development at Oranhill.
The plans involve 68 two-storey houses at Oranhill.
These will be a mix of 4-bed semi detached, 3-bed semi-detached and terraced homes.
Permission has been granted with 14 conditions attached.
One stipulates that public lighting shall be provided in agreement with the council before the houses are made available for occupation.
