New Premises. New Location. Same Great Service.

For over 20 years Kevin Burke Tyres has been a key part of the Athenry community, providing quality reliable service to Athenry motorists and businesses, while providing direct employment to dozens of local people over the years. This Athenry business’ success story has made the exciting move from its premises in Caheroyan, to a purpose-built facility in Furzy Park, just off the Galway-Dublin Motorway.

Spanning three decades, KBT has transitioned from a tyre retailer catering to the local area, to one of the largest wholesale tyre providers in the country. Despite that growth, KBT has never lost sight of its key role as a service provider to local businesses and customers, and that will continue from its state-of-the-art Furzy Park premises.

The new facility possesses the equipment and space to cater for every kind of vehicle, from a Mini to a Massey and everything in between. With abundant customer parking, massive servicing bays, as well as a drive through tracking bay which will even be able to facilitate articulated trucks… the new premises has been built to the specifications required of a thriving retail and wholesale tyre business.

The KBT journey began in the early nineties, when Kevin Burke returned from England to take over the service station he had worked in as a boy, the Arch Petrol Station in Athenry. With the needs of the modern customer in mind, Kevin set about providing a fast, reliable and affordable service to motorists. Everything from a swift oil/filter change to a full valet could be found under the shadow of the historic Athenry Arch.

From those beginnings followed 24 years of business growth and success in Caheroyan, with KBT becoming a landmark fixture alongside the bridge toward Monivea. With the years, the business has expanded beyond what the Caheroyan location can now provide, and so it is with great excitement that the move to Furzypark is to be taken.

The surroundings may be changing, but with the same experienced and friendly sales and service team in place, Athenry motorists and businesses can be reassured that they will receive the same great KBT service in Furzy Park. Take a left at the final roundabout before the motorway, and pop in to say hello.
